Yesterday, the highlight of the day was heading into Providence to eat at a little “dive” that Food Network star Guy Fieri featured on his show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The joint is called Liberty Elm Diner and it looks like a dive. But once inside, the food and the people were great. The taxi fare was double what I paid for lunch, but who cares, it was fun.
The rest of the day was spent doing a planned teleconference (love technology), keeping up with emails, and keeping tabs on my nephew’s high school basketball team in the state tournament. Barb was there tweeting me results during the day. His team won and they can earn a right to play in the championship game with a win today. If they do, I will be back in time to be there. Go Titans!
I’m ready to head off to Alan Weiss’ workshop (the real reason I came) with one of my mentor clients. We had a terrific dinner last night at Legal Sea Foods. If you ever go and they have the flounder…get it.
