Let’s be honest, social media has brought a whole new meaning to the op-ed.
I don’t mind it. In fact, I’m more than game to have a discussion on my social media platforms. That being said, sometimes the responses are filled with caustic comments, extraneous exclamation points, and occasional expletives. In many cases, you can observe the tried and true bully pulpit exclamation, “OH YEAH??!!”

In the Blink of an Eye
In the blink of an eye…Last month, Barb and I attended the wedding of our nephew. It was a wonderful event, especially as they deftly dealt with the restrictions due to COVID-19. We ended up get-ting back into Poulsbo feeling a little peckish. Our “go-to” in situations like this is to run to Central Market and pick up a burger and potato salad to take home.
