Last week, Bandon had THAT surgery.
It went well and he’s doing fine. The most challenging thing has been keeping, or attempting to keep him, under wraps.
He’s wearing the donut – trying to avoid the cone of shame – and that’s been easy. But trying to keep down a puppy that’s used to three walks a day and regular fetch sessions requires a healthy dose of drugs!
As humans, when we are told that we need to recover and rehabilitate, we logically know we must rest. Dogs have no idea. Once they start feeling good, they are ready to go.
Recovery is everything.
When we as a business or as individuals suffer the equivalent of getting THAT surgery, recovery is everything. Recovery keeps the doors open, employees working, and stress and anxiety manageable.
Recovery saves businesses, lifestyles, and legacies.
While the key to recovery for Bandon is sedation, for business leaders and individuals is planning. And for most of us, planning is about as much fun as wearing the cone of shame for two weeks.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, do something that someone in your business and/or life might one day be thankful for. Give them the gift of recovery.
The gift of recovery means creating a business continuity plan that anticipates crisis and has solutions ready to go. It means creating a plan for your loved ones to recover financially and emotionally if something happens to you.
It’s never fun thinking about the bad things that can happen, however those that plan ahead are more likely to assure financial, emotional, and lifestyle recovery for others.
If you need help getting started on this process, either for your business or for you personally, call me. I’m happy to offer you a complementary call to discuss your situation. That’s right. Complimentary. Free. As a way to say thank you for your readership.
Schedule a call with me and tell me that you want to set up a recovery plan for your business or yourself. Bandon and I are happy to help with a conversation.
Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for your continued readership and support.
Keep chasing unleashed.

“It’s not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.”
