A horrific day today in Connecticut as Sandy Hook Elementary has had a violent and fatal shooting on its campus. Thoughts and prayers are with the families, teachers, administrators and city.
This event is even more impactful for me as a school board member in my own district. I know the love, care, and compassion in elementary schools and I can’t even fathom what they are all going through.
