Listen:

I want to interrupt this weekly missive to take the time and express some thanks this week.

None of us saw this year materializing the way it did at this time last year. It certainly might have been easier to be thankful last November.

Those of you reading this might have experienced a tumultuous 2020. You may have lost family or friends to COVID, or something else. Your business may have suffered devastating effects from a shutdown or slowdown. Your children may not be in school and you’ve been forced to add the title teacher to parent. You may feel isolated and overwhelmed. You may have become ill yourself.

To those of you who have in any way had to cope with any of these or other crises, I’m sorry. I wish for you full recovery, help, and better times moving forward.

I’m extremely thankful this year…

Thank you to all my clients, past and present. You’ve made it possible for me and my family to enjoy the life I have.

Thank you to all who follow my work, whether its by reading, listening or watching. I appreciate your support.

Thank you to all my colleagues and business partners. You make it possible for us to do what we do.

Thank you to my extended family and friends. You keep me stable with fun, laughter, and good times.

Thank you to my daughters and son-in-law. You’ve gone from my children to my best friends over the past years and I’m grateful for your support and love.

Thank you to Ellie and Maddie. Being Pops keeps me balanced and gives me purpose beyond career.

Thank you to my business and life partner, Barb. We’ve been together as a couple since 1982 and working together is perfect. I will try to stop talking to you as I’m walking up the stairs so you can actually hear me.

In the midst of both chaos and calm, we should always take some time to be thankful. Blessings to all of you for a Happy Thanksgiving full of food, family, fun and football (you can choose the order….)

Be unleashed.

Quote of the Day:

“If you’re not making mistakes, then you’re not doing anything. I’m positive that a doer makes mistakes.”
